Head's Welcome

Welcome to the Dassett Church of England Primary School! I hope that this website gives you an insight into life at our happy successful school.
We are situated in the beautiful village of Fenny Compton and we are overlooked by grazing sheep and cows on rolling hills.
There is a very strong sense of community here at the Dassett with children and adults working closely together to benefit the learning potential of every child.
Our motto is ‘Together we learn, independently we grow'.
At the Dassett everyone feels valued. Children of all ages thrive in a supportive atmosphere. Staff work hard to make the learning opportunities fun and exciting. Governors are closely involved in driving our school forward.
If you are considering our school for your child may I urge you to visit us and see for yourselves the hard working stimulating atmosphere.

Priority Area

The Dassett C of E Primary is a popular, well established school serving an area encompassing several villages in South Warwickshire. The majority of our children come from our priority area but increasingly children travel from outside our priority to attend our school. The school is situated in the beautiful village of Fenny Compton and is overlooked by rolling hills.
Children of 4-11 years attend our school. The school has 184 children on roll and these are currently organised in seven classes- one class per year group. Our admission policy follows recommendations from the Local Authority.
We are part of Warwickshire Local Authority and as a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School we have a close relationship with local churches and the Coventry Diocesan Board of Education . Christian values are a fundamental part of our school. Consequently relationships are supportive and behaviour is excellent. We are an inclusive school and we welcome pupils whatever their faith.
